James Francis Ruddy

James Francis "Jamie/Jim" Ruddy, age 42, beloved husband of Stephanie (Pearson) Ruddy passed away in a tragic car crash in Santa Clara, CA while on business. Born in the Bronx, NY on January 27, 1972 to James and Carol (Bolger) Ruddy, Jamie grew up in Fairfield, CT and attended Fairfield High School (class of 1990). Prior to his death he resided in Litchfield County and worked for EMC in Hopkinton, MA as a Senior Solutions Engineer in the office of the CTO. Jamie had an amazing energy and love for life, technology, music, reading, his fellow man and most of all his family. He was admired and respected by his colleagues and touched the lives in a special way of everyone who knew him. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his loving sons Dylan (13), Forest (10) and Liam (3mos), his sisters Janice Higgins (Paul) and Dana Wagnblas (Eric), nephews Brian Higgins and Noah Wagnblas, his in-laws (the Pearson and Smith families), many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield, with interment to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 4-8 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd. Fairfield, Ct. 06824.
