Jean M. Noreika

Jean M. Noreika, age 89, of Durham, Maine, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, beloved wife of the late Frank J. Noreika, Sr. died Sunday, October 28, 2018 with her son Frank and family by her side. She was a graduate of both St. Charles Elementary School and Sts. Cyril and Methodius School. Jean was employed at Harley Hardware, Harvey Hubbell and Avco Lycoming before leaving to become a fulltime home maker raising her son Frank, Jr. She took great pride in being able to be a fulltime mom to her son. Jean also loved to travel with her family. Most of all Jean loved time spent with her family. Survivors include her son Frank Noreika, Jr. and his wife Stacey and their children Christopher and Julia of Durham, ME., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene J. McSweeney and Margaret Walsh McSweeney, siblings Eugene, Jr, Margie and Bobby McSweeney. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 PM meeting DIRECTLY at St. Andrew's Church, 395 Anton St., Bridgeport, CT with interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
