John L Anderson

John L. (Jack) Anderson, age 83, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Mount Vernon, NY Jack was educated through the Mount Vernon public schools and received an electronic degree in Advanced Technology from the RCA Institute of Technology. He was employed by Bunker Ramo where he was in charge of product development, and served as Laboratory Supervisor. Jack, who enjoyed boating on Long Island Sound, was a kind and quiet man who was well liked by all who knew him, including his neighbors. There are no immediate survivors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Stamford. Friends may gather at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield, CT 06824.
