John R. Marini

John R. Marini, age 60, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on July 23rd after a brief illness. Born in the Bronx, he spent most of his adult life in Connecticut. He held a number of positions in Facility Management, most recently at Harlem Hospital in NYC.
He was a passionate man who dearly loved his family and friends, and had a heart bigger than himself. He is survived by his wife, Maureen (Shannon) Marini, and his beloved daughters, Anna Maria and Meghan, his parents, Isabel and Joseph Marini. As well as his brother, Nick Marini and his wife Terri. He was predeceased by his sister, Maria Jacobson. In addition, he is also survived by his brothers-in-law: Dennis, Tim, and Ron, as well as his sisters-in-law: Cathy, Sarah, and Debbie, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM meeting DIRECTLY at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown, CT 06470, interment will be private. Friends may call Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S Benson Rd., Fairfield.
