John M. Stepanowski
John M. Stepanowski, age 57, of Bridgeport, husband of Kathleen Stepanowski, passed away on November 22, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital after a long illness.
The beloved son of John F. and the late Jean Stepanowski and brother of Anita Stepanowski (Tom Miller), he is also survived by his kidney donor, Donna Bothur, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew and friends.
John was a graduate of SCSU and spent most of his career at MetLife. He always embraced life and loved music, baseball, the Green Bay Packers and time spent with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
The family thanks Dr. Mark Hotchkiss and the team at Fresenius Kidney Center for the excellent care they provided John.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 4-7 pm at Spear- Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Rd., Fairfield with a prayer service at 6:00 pm.
