Josephine B. Galpin

Josephine B. Galpin, 86, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018, with her family at her side. She was born in Bridgeport, CT, on May 7, 1931, and was predeceased by her devoted husband Frederick and parents Tony and Anna Belmonte of Bridgeport.

She is survived by her son Ted Galpin, son John Galpin and his wife Patricia, and daughter Claudia Majewski and her husband Eric; grandchildren Andrew Majewski, Caryn Galpin, and Lindsay Galpin; and several cousins and nephews.

Josephine graduated from Central High School in 1949 where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband of 64 years. She was the manager at the dental office of Dr. Ron Cocchiola in Huntington for many years. Jo enjoyed concerts at Tanglewood, bowling, playing racquetball, travelling cross-country with
her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
