Julia T. Swanston

Julie T. Swanston, 90 of Fairfield died December 3, 2016 at Cambridge Manor. She was born to Joseph and Julia Toke, Sr. on August 19, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. After graduating from Roger Ludlowe High School, she went to work for Skinner Chevrolet in the Accounting Department. The remainder of her working career was spent at Heim Bearing Company, in Fairfield. Julie was predeceased by her brother Joseph Toke, Jr. and sisters Rose Schwahl and Anne Ford. She is survived by her nieces Sally Rogers, Jo-Ann Toke Karen Cramer and her nephew Edwin Ford. She will be missed by her dear friend, Betty Farina.
