Katherine Ann Nelson

Katherine Ann Nelson, age 66, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. Born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harold and Helen Nelson, she had been a Fairfield area resident since 1976. Survivors include a brother, Richard A. Nelson and his wife Patricia of Stratford; her twin sister, Barbara Ippolito and her husband Tom of Englewood, FL; and a nephew Justin Hendley of New Hampshire. She was predeceased by a nephew, John Hendley. A Funeral service will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Ave., Southport. Interment will be in the Trinity Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Road, Unit E4, Milford, CT 06460.
