Kathleen Proulx Avery

Kathleen Proulx Avery, age 68 of Seymour, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Peter and Helen Proulx she had been a Seymour resident for the last 25 years. Survivors include two beloved sons, Jason Avery and his wife Lonnie of Seymour and Christopher Avery and his wife Lori of Plantsville; two sisters, Elaine Gabriel of Fairfield and Eileen Riley and her husband Jack of Westport, three cherished grandchildren, Camryn, Sarah and Evan Avery; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Ann Church, 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will be private and calling hours omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Swim Across the Sound Cancer Center, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.
