Kellie L. Spear

Kellie L. Koch Spear, age 41, of Shelton, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Joseph Spear and a wonderful mother to Mya Raine Spear. In addition to her husband Joe and daughter Mya, Kellie is survived by her loving parents Winfrid and Beverly (Skojec) Koch of Stratford, her sister Anna Champagne and husband Dan of Shelton, a brother Winfrid Koch and his wife Jody of Stratford, a sister Marcella Lazareanu of Tennessee, several nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Above all Kellie loved and cherished her daughter Mya. Kellie was a kind, caring, loving, and giving person who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all of her family and friends for loving her, supporting her and being her friend. She was lucky to have had each and every one of you in her life. We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Neal Fishbach, Renee Moye and the entire team at Oncology Associates in Fairfield for their dedication and friendship they gave to Kellie and our family. We would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Bridgeport Hospital for their care and compassion they gave not only to Kellie but to our family during her stay. To honor Kellie's wishes there will be no funeral services, but we will be having a celebration to honor the life of Kellie on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at The American Legion Post 16, 295 Bridgeport Ave., Shelton, CT from 7-11 PM.
