Kenneth M. Gould

Kenneth M. Gould, 80, of Fairfield passed away suddenly on May 4, 2022. Ken is the loving husband of Marie Hopkins Gould. Ken was born August 15, 1941 in Bridgeport to the late Matthew and Mary Schwarz Gould.

After attending Fairfield University, Ken began a successful career in the Automotive sales business serving in the administration and finance division of many local car dealerships. Ken was a devout Catholic and lived his faith by being kind to everyone he met. Ken was an avid New York Yankees fan for most of his life and was a lover of classic cars. His greatest pleasure was being around his family and friends. Ken enjoyed his time spent on Dogwood Lane and loved to share his knowledge of the history of the neighborhood.

In addition to his wife, Marie, Ken is survived by his stepsons Thomas (Whitney) Becker, Matthew (Jaime) Becker and Sean Becker. He was the loving Big Poppy to Stella, Jolie, Tobin, Jude, Lucy and Isobel. Ken is also survived by his sister Madeline (Arnold) Marshall and their sons Brian and Dwight.

The family would like to thank the town of Fairfield First Responders and the staff at the St. Vincent Hospital Emergency room for the care they gave Ken and the compassion they showed Marie.
