Laura M. Coleman

Laura M. Coleman (neé Ricca) of Fairfield, age 103, passed over on November 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late William L. Coleman, and the only daughter of John M. Ricca and Angela Giambalvo Ricca. She is survived by her daughter Jacinta Coleman, her son Laurence Coleman, her daughter-in-law Gale Rose Coleman, grandchildren Alex Levy, Rebecca Levy, Jeffrey Coleman and Alyssa Coleman, granddaughter-in-law Julia Brumer Levy and great-granddaughter Ada Levy. Born in Brooklyn, Laura later lived in California, Long Island, Florida and for the past 20 years in Fairfield, CT. Before marriage, she was legal secretary to General Wickersham of Cadwallader, Wickersham and Taft in New York, among others. She had a strong sense of fun and brought a lively presence to gatherings. She never lost her curiosity and desire to learn. We will miss her humor, theories, opinions and unconditional love.
