Lillian Penney

Lillian Penney, age 95, of Southport, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Fairview Health of Southport. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen Doyle Penney, she had been a lifelong area resident. Miss Penney was employed for many years as an operator for the Southern New England Telephone Company. Lillian was predeceased by her siblings, Margie McBride; Herbert Penney and Edward Joseph Penney. She is survived by a niece and a nephew, Audrey Penney Giard, Edward Michael Penney, a great niece, Marihia Penney Colon, her husband Kelvin Colon and two great nephews, Kyle William Penney and Edward J Penney as well as a great great nephew, Kelvin S Colon. Funeral services will be private.
