Linda E. (Mcbride) Menz

Linda E. Menz, 73, of Fairfield passed away at home on Friday, April 19, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Allan Menz. Linda was born in Bridgeport on September 30, 1950 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Swinton McBride.

While on vacation in Hawaii, she met her future husband when he offered to give her a tour of the island. A dedicated educator, Linda spent many years working at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Fairfield. In her free time, Linda enjoyed playing games, reading, and baking. Nothing gave her greater joy than being with her family.

In addition to her husband, Allan, she is survived by her son Brian and his wife Mary Jonelle. As well as her grandchildren Michael, John, & Walter. She was predeceased by an infant son Michael, her parents, and sister Gail McBride.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 26th at 11 AM at St. Pius X. Catholic Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Family and friends may visit at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home at 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield on Friday, April 26th from 9-10:30AM.
