Lois M. Stoller, 88 Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert A. Stoller, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Prior to relocating to CT in 2005 Lois was a 40 year resident of Newburgh, NY. She was born on December 6, 1927 in Maplewood, NJ. She graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood in 1946 and then the University of Michigan in 1950. She later completed a one year course at Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School for college graduates. Lois was employed as secretary at AT&T Long Lines in New York City. Lois also did administrative work in her husband's medical office. In Newburgh, Lois was a Deacon for 6 years at Union Church, on the Board of Managers at the Holden Home and Membership Chairperson for the Orange County Women's Auxiliary. After relocating to Fairfield, Lois participated in the Young at Heart Ministry at Black Rock Church. She also attended Grasmere by the Sea Adult Day Program. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Clara Miller, a brother, Ralph Miller and his wife Kathie and a brother-in-law, John Stoller. Survivors include four children: Nancie O'Sullivan and husband Greg, Fairfield. Bill Stoller of Jacksonville, FL. Steve Stoller and wife Tina, Waverly OH, and Jim Stoller of Charlotte, NC; Martha Chew also of Charlotte, NC. ten grandchildren: Erin (Brandon), Brendan (Jaimie), Stephen, Keri, Alex, Lyndsey, Justin( Adrienne) , Allie (Jonathan), Rockford and Grant; a niece, Claire (Shane), three nephews: Jeff (Julia), Dave (Sue) and Andy (Paula); and a sister-in-law, Joanne Stoller of NC. A service to celebrate Lois' life will be held on Sunday May 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gathering Room at Black Rock Congregational Church 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield.
