Margaret Mazurick Haggar

Margaret (Peggy) Mazurick Haggar, age 85 of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Peggy was the daughter of the late Stephen and Antionette Mazurick. Peggy was born and raised on the east side of Bridgeport, graduating from Harding High School in 1948. She graduated from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1951. Upon graduation she was employed by Bridgeport Hospital in the Obstetrics Department. She was later employed by the City of Bridgeport for many years as a public health/school nurse in several elementary schools in Bridgeport. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Earl Thomas Haggar and her sisters, Dorothy Plucinski and Alice Martin. She is survived by her children, Thomas Haggar and his wife Jackie of Land O' Lakes, Florida, Leslie Riccio and her husband Eugene of Southport, Ct, grandchildren, Mathew Haggar and his wife Lisa of Rockledge, Florida, Rebecca Sirkle and her husband Jake of Winter Garden, Florida and Anna Lee Riccio of Southport, Connecticut. Also great grandchildren, Joseph and Lauren Haggar and Nathaniel and Anderson Sirkle. A memorial mass for Peggy will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Pius X Church Chapel 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield, Ct at 1pm.
