Marie Meder Grout Marsh

Marie Meder Grout Marsh, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital, the daughter of Margaret Adams and George Meder of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her husbands, Phillipp DeForest Grout and John H. Marsh. Marie is survived by sons Jonathan DeWitt Grout and Phillipp DeForest Grout, Jr and his wife Elizabeth, stepchildren Suzanne M. Joy and Edward Marsh and 3 granddaughters, Heather Marie, Katherine Anna and Melanie Elizabeth. An avid bridge player, she was a member of the Junior League of Fairfield and a United States Figure Skating Judge. Services will be private and in lieu of flowers, contributions to Southport Congregational Church would be appreciated.
