Marjorie Goodwin Judge, age 88, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor Goodwin, she had been a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Holy Family Academy, she received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Western Connecticut State College. Marge began her career as an elementary school teacher where she taught for a number of years in Fairfield, Easton and Bridgeport. After raising her four children, she began a successful career in real estate sales. Marge was associated with Fairfield County Real Estate until her retirement. She held membership in many local, state and national realtor associations. Marge was very active in community activities in Southern CT. She was a devoted volunteer and fundraiser at Lauralton Hall and was recognized in 1988 with the prestigious Mother Mary Augustine Claven Award. She also proudly served as funding chairperson for "Patchworking", a six seminar program designed to assist recently divorced or separated women with life redirection. She was a member of the Y.W.C.A. 100 Club, the Fairfield Prep Bellarmine Guild and the Gaelic American Club in Fairfield. Marge enjoyed playing golf, and was a former member of the Patterson Club and the Quechee Club in Vermont. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Mary Zackrison Otocka and her husband Drew of Wilton, Walter J. Zackrison, Jr. and his wife Lucimar of Fairfield, Maura Zackrison Mula and her husband Mark of Westport and Annie Zackrison Kleinhenz and her husband Mark of Madison; 6 cherished grandchildren: Kiki Love and her husband Crispin, Alex Yuditski, Monica Mula, Matt Mula, Jack Kleinhenz and Will Kleinhenz; a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Morrissey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private in St. Thomas Cemetery. Prior calling hours have been omitted.
