Mary I. Dolzani

Mary I. Dolzani, age 74 of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Robert Dolzani, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the CT Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kollinger, she had been a Fairfield resident for most of her life. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mary loved gardening, but above all else, delighted in time spent with her family. She relished her role as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include three beloved children, Brian Dolzani and his wife Maryann of Fairfield, Steven Dolzani and his wife Joya of Northford and Karen Dolzani and her fiancé Jody Galemba of Fairfield; five cherished grandchildren, Elliot, Spencer, Robert, Steven and Mary; two sisters, Joan Tubirdy and Rosalie Hauge both of Trumbull; a brother, Joe Kollinger of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
