Michael G. Nunes

Michael G. Nunes, Age 70 of Chicago, IL formerly of Fairfield, beloved son of the late George and Stasia Nunes passed away on August 30, 2019. Mike was born on December 18, 1948 and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Fairfield Prep. Mike went on to receive his B.A. in Government and English from Wesleyan University in Middletown, and his M.B.A from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mike went on to become a Vice President at Bank of America where he retired at the age of 60. Mike loved to travel, spend a lot of time in Europe, loved people, and had many lifelong friends. Mike will be remembered for his smile, his caring personality, and how much he loved The Lord. He leaves behind a brother, Russell Nunes and his wife Barbara of Shelton; a sister Patricia Condie of VA; two nephews Shane Nunes of Shelton and Nathan Condie of Maryland; two nieces Rachael Nunes of Fairfield and Shana Dittano of VA; and a longtime friend Lois Tabor of Chicago. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00am meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield.
