Micheline Bonvini (Mitzi) Friedman

Mitzi was born in Bridgeport, CT to Susan and Anthony Cuvitilo. She was predeceased by her husbands Dr. Robert C. Bonvini and Judge Irwin E. Friedman,
as well as her sister Evelyn Becker and her brother Hugh Cuvitilo. She was a long time resident of Fairfield, CT. and also had a home in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico.
Her zest and panache for life included her love of her grandchildren, nature, gardening, her pets and her tireless curiosity in her surrounding & people she encountered,
and her ease of making and retaining friendships.

Her numerous charitable endeavors included the University of Bridgeport, Discovery Museum and Bridgeport Hospital.

Mitzi is survived by her three children Roger A. Bonvini, Anita C. Bonvini-Ignaszewski, and Robert C. Bonvini; her three grandchildren, Nicholas C. Bonvini, Andrew R. Bonvini and Nina R. Bonvini. She is also survived by her sister, Yolanda Dorrian .

Visitation will be at Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road in Fairfield on Friday, March 16, from 9-11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford, Ct.
