Nancy E. Macquarrie

Nancy E. MacQuarrie of Fairfield, beloved wife of David B. MacQuarrie, passed away Wednesday evening, September 23, 2015 in her home. Formerly of West Haven, the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Reynolds she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 28 years. Following high school Nancy worked at Yale University and later attended Stone Business School. She went on to work for Union Trust in New Haven and retired from Pullman & Conley, LLC. Nancy was an ardent supporter of mental health and the social needs for those suffering with mental illnesses. She served on the State of Connecticut Health Commission. Nancy's most precious times were those spent with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who love her. Survivors in addition to her loving husband David include two beloved children, Lauren Galiette of Norwalk and Richard Galiette and his wife Kim of Southbury; two loving grandsons, Trevor and Matthew Galiette; a sister, Suzanne Bergami of Plymouth, MA; a brother, Edward Reynolds, Jr. of Rocky Hill; a step-son, Brooks MacQuarrie and his wife Georgette of Wallingford and their five children, Ryan, Sydney, Jaclyn, Kate and Mason; a step-daughter, Jodi Green and her husband Chris of Westbrook, and several devoted cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
