Nicholas Peter Palko

Nicholas P. Palko, 92 of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport beloved husband of the late Mary T. Palko passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Nicholas and Helen Palko, he had been a lifelong city resident. Mr. Palko was a retired tool and die maker with the Bodine Corporation, a member of the Kennedy Center of Bridgeport, a lifetime member of the Fayerweather yacht club and was a parishoner of St. Ann Church. Survivors include three beloved children, Thomas J. Palko of Stratford, Nicholas P. Palko III and his wife Judith of Trumbull and Patricia A. Palko of Black Rock; six grandchildren, Nicholas P. Palko, IV. Christopher Douglas Palko, Timothy Joseph Palko, Douglas Stephen Palko, Brendan Thomas Palko and Natalie Dale Palko, a brother, Robert Palko and his wife Irma and several nieces nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Ann Church 481 Brewster St., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in the Pilgrimage Mausoleum at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 9-10:00 am in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home 39 South Benson Rd.
