Norma G. Isselee

Norma G. Isselee, 92, of Wellsville, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 24, 1922, in Darien, CT, the daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Austin) Gerstenmaier. Norma was the widow of Mark D. Isselee. She attended the Church of the Open Door, York. Norma is survived by two sons: Mark C. Isselee (Bev) of Milford, CT; Paul D. Isselee (Jill) of Bethel, CT; three daughters, Garie I. Shoemaker of Dillsburg, Karen A. Newell (Neal) of Carlisle, Kim S. Johnson (Vincent) of York; one brother, Charles Gerstenmaier of Mystic, CT. She also is survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Ct., York, PA 17408. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 or the Church of the Open Door Mission Fund, 8 Carlisle Ct., York, PA 17408.
