Norman L Dedrick

Norman L. Dedrick, Sr. age 85 of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Frances Dedrick, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Frank and Lillian Dedrick, he had been a Fairfield resident for 55 years. He received an Associates Degree from Tri State University and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved to play golf and walking his two beloved Corgi's. Survivors include two sons, Norman L. Dedrick, Jr. and his wife Mirella of Trumbull and Scott Dedrick of New York; a step-daughter, Shirley Schepp and her husband Frank of Huntington; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Raymond Dedrick. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. M. Todd Shipley officiating. Interment will follow in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours have been omitted.
