Patricia P. Watson

Patricia P. Watson, age 86, of Fairfield, beloved wife of 64 years of William J. Watson, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 21, 2014. Born in Hartford and raised in Newington the daughter of the late Milton and Dorothea Pellett, she had been a Fairfield resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and Weylister Junior College. Patricia was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir as a child and served on the Vestry. She enjoyed swimming, loved to dance, walking with her husband and traveling, especially to Cape Cod to watch Bill play Softball. Above all else, Pat cherished her role as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Survivors in addition to her loving husband Bill include four beloved children, Kyle W. Watson and his wife Joanne of New Britain, Scott W. Watson of Waterbury, Wende E. Cofield and her husband George of Brighton, MI and Susan E. Jones and her husband Curtis of Bloomingburg, NY; six loving grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel, Sarah, Taryn, Megan and Caitlin; three cherished great-grandchildren, Jameson, Alexander and Aurelia; a sister, Sandra Sexton of Lenox, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Milton and Rodman Pellett. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St Paul's Episcopal Church, Fairfield. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield.
