Paul J. Haughney, Jr.

Paul J. Haughney Jr. loving father, husband, brother and friend to many, of Monroe, CT, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14th.

Paul was born and raised in Norwalk, CT on June 10, 1950. He met and married his high school sweetheart, Dee Masi Haughney in 1970 and together they raised 3 wonderful children. Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years Dee; daughter Robyn Haughney Tedesco and her husband Michael; daughter Alysha Haughney Mills; and son Paul Haughney 3rd and his wife Kerry Longyear. He cherished his 10 grandchildren, Ryan & Connor Tedesco, Gavin & Colin Mills, Aidan, Madison, Drew, Kierstyn, Brendan and Dylan Haughney. He is also survived by sisters Susan Pugliese, Helen Carafa and brother Thomas Haughney as well as many friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Paul J. Haughney Sr. and Helen Daley Haughney.

Paul's career started at GECC in Stamford, CT where he worked in the computer center. He moved on to Prodigy (IBM) and then Priceline.com where he was the manager of the NOC. Health issues forced an early retirement, allowing more time for hobbies. Paul's interests included boating and fishing, gardening, tending to his Koi pond, his Mustang Cobra and traveling.

In keeping with Paul's wishes, there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be announced in the near future.
