Phyllis Rose (Erickson) Enabnit

Phyllis Rose Enabnit, age 97, of Fairfield, beloved wife of 50 years to the late Elgin G. Enabnit, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 29, 2021.  Born in Millville, MN, the daughter of the late William and Alice Erickson, she had been a Fairfield resident for many years.  Early in her life, Mrs. Enabnit worked as a teacher, a bookkeeper and in insurance.  Phyllis loved the Lord and was an active member of Black Rock Church for 45 years.  She was a Sunday School teacher, led a community group Bible study, was a member of Young at Heart, and the Handbell Choir.  She cared deeply for the Black Rock Missions Ministry and was a prayer warrior and financial supporter for scores of missionaries around the world.  She will be sadly missed by her three beloved daughters, Ginger Vennerstrom and her husband Dr. Robert Vennerstrom of St. Bonifacius, MN, Denise Fix and her husband Peter Fix of Shelton, CT and Shari Iverson and her husband Michael Iverson of Evanston, IL;  two sisters, Betty Harcey of Baxter, MN and Marge Butler of Dayton, TN; seven grandchildren, Andrew Vennerstrom and his wife Emily, Michael Vennerstrom and his wife Laura, Erick Fix and his wife Lauren, Bryan Fix, Jessica Iverson, Andrea Antoine and her husband Stanley, and Erin Patag and her husband Joey; five great-grandchildren, Lydia, Grace and Vera Vennerstrom, Lewis Vennerstrom and August Antoine.  She was predeceased by a brother, James Erickson and a sister, Mary Ferguson.  A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Enabnit’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 18th at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield. Family visitation prior to the service will begin at 10:00 am.
