Robert Bossa, age 86, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 9, 2021. Born August 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Louis and Caroline Bossa.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Donna; a son David (Weili) Bossa, daughter Cynthia (Michael) Zeoli, and daughter Diana (Daniel) Mc Carthy; eight Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepchildren, David Keith (fiancé Maren Gulick), Jeffery (Karin) Keith, and Lynne (Jeffery) McDonald; eight Step Grandchildren; his sister, Linda Wren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Anna and daughter Betsy.
Robert graduated with a B.S. in English from the University of Bridgeport as well as further studies in International Business at Harvard University. Bob worked with two Swedish companies as Vice President of the Kanthal Corporation and later as President of the Gunnebo Corporation. He proudly served his country for over 50 years with the U.S. State Department. He was an avid reader and enjoyed travel, both domestic and foreign. As a founder, he spent over 20 years with the development and managing of the Greenfield Hill Church Memorial Garden. Burial will be private with a celebration of his life at a later date.
