Robert John Thompson

Robert "Bob" John Thompson, age 72, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Ellen Thompson, passed away peacefully at home Monday January 18, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Dorothy Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Thompson, 2 daughters, Kimberly Martin and Scott, and Amy Curran and Jason Rotzal, 2 brothers, Raymond "Duke" Thompson, and Ronald Thompson, 5 grandchildren, Bailey Curran, Braden Thompson, Kaylee Martin, Maya Knutson, and Riley Martin, and parents in-law Sanford and Evelyn Kohnke. He was a proud Marine, devoted Ruger employee for over 4 decades, loved traveling, country music, and the races. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM meeting directly at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fairfield with interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetary. Friends may greet the family Monday, January 25, 2016 from 5-7 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 Benson Rd., Fairfield.
