Rodger W. Dawe

Rodger W. Dawe, age 61 of Trumbull, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in his home. Born in Bridgeport the son of the late Franklyn and Justine Dawe, he had been a lifelong area resident, He graduated from Bullard Havens Technical School. Rodger loved music and enjoyed both playing the guitar and writing songs, and was an avid Beatles fan. Survivors include his brother, Barry P. Dawe and his wife Jean of Newtown; a nephew, Erik P. Dawe of Washington, DC. He was recently predeceased by a brother, Alan R. Dawe. A funeral service celebrating Rodger's life will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Friday from 11 AM to the time of the service.
