Rosemary (Godo) Petrucci-Spiller

Rosemary Petrucci-Spiller of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 21, 2021.  Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Louis and Bertha Godo, she was a lifelong Fairfield resident.  A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, she worked as a typesetter for Regal Business Forms until devoting her life to her family.  Rosemary was a gourmet cook, avid reader, artist, loved to play Scrabble and always looked forward to card playing with her “girls” in the Bridge club.  She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary Guild at St. Pius X Church.  Survivors include her two beloved children, Orise Petrucci of Fairfield and DJ Petrucci of Fairfield; a granddaughter, Alana Skrtic of Stratford; several nieces and nephews including her special niece Nanci McCann of New Hampshire, many dear friends, especially Evelyn Chomortany of Fairfield, her devoted caregiver, Urszula Kaplinski of Orange and her feline fur baby Queenie.  She was predeceased by her husband, Bertram Spiller, her great-grandson Kayden, her brother, Eugene Chelstowski and his wife Florence, her sister, Dorothy Vargas and her husband Joe, her sister Wanda Youhas and her husband Jay, her nephew James Youhas and great nephew Corey Varjas.  Funeral services will be private.  To offer an online condolence please visit www.SpearFuneralHome.com
