Ruth Louise Nuccitelli

Ruth L. Nuccitelli, died peacefully at home in Fairfield surrounded by her family on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 93. She was born in Bridgeport on February 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Francis and Patricia Rich. Ruth worked for the Fairfield Board of Education. She was very active at Black Rock Congregational Church where she volunteered as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School and as a Pioneer Girls troop leader. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Guido, and is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bosworth of Riverside, CA and her son, Richard Nuccitelli of Fairfield; a brother, Robert Rich of Stratford, a sister Jackie Lavoy of Bridgeport; two grandchildren, Daniel Bosworth of Riverside, CA and Sarah Nuccitelli of Fairfield, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Francis and Joan. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. Gaylord Lemke officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may greet the family Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
