Ruth S. Obert

Ruth S. Obert, age 92 of Milford, beloved wife for over 70 years of Edward J. Obert, passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Born March 22, 1925 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Stephen and Marie (Schiefer) Sedinmer, she had been a lifelong Milford resident. She was parishioner for many years of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Devon. Survivors in addition to her loving husband Edward include two sons, Stephen E. Obert and his wife MaryLee and Richard M. Obert and his wife Barbara; three grandchildren, Richard M. Obert and his wife Caroline, Suzanna E. Obert and Keith R. Obert and his wife Susan; and three great-grandchildren, Richard C. Obert, Alexander J. Obert and Amelia Ruth Obert. Funeral services will be private.
