Sally Paul Ford

Sally Paul Ford, beloved wife of the late Raymond M. Ford, Jr., passed away peacefully at her home in Southport, CT on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the age of 96. Sally was born on November 1, 1922 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Lucius Charles and Ethel Wheeler Paul and was a resident of Fairfield for most of her life. She was vice president of her class at Mt. Vernon Seminary in Washington, D.C and attended Endicott College in Massachusetts. A past member of both the DAR and the Junior League of Bridgeport, Sally dedicated much of her time to volunteer work, including serving on the board of the Visiting Nurses of Fairfield and working in the Bridgeport Hospital gift shop. A long-time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport, she was a part of the altar guild for 44 years and assisted in the church office as well. Sally was also an active past member of the Greenfield Hill Garden Club, Brooklawn Country Club, Patterson Club and Fairfield Beach Club. She will deeply missed by her three children Sally-Ann Soderman of Casa Grande, AZ, Linda Norrell of Trumbull and Paul Ford of Fairfield, her sister Shirley (Paul) Bush of Jacksonville, FL, her two granddaughters and five grandsons, and her five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
