Scott Jeffrey Therriault

Scott Jeffrey Therriault, age 42, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 in his home. Born in Schenectady, NY, Scott had been a Fairfield resident for the last 12 years. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in Economics. Scott worked as a trader on Wall Street for Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and UBS, and most recently was a commercial real estate investor. Scott loved to golf but above all else loved spending time with his family and friends. He was so proud of his children and loved them dearly. Scott had a true love for life, had an infectious sense of humor and delighted in making people laugh. He was loved by so many people who had the privilege of knowing him. Survivors include his lifelong partner, Katy Biscone of Fairfield; three cherished children, Alexandra, Ella and Billy Therriault; his father, Thomas Therriault and his wife Sharon of Saratoga Springs, NY; his mother, Sylvia James and her husband Charles of Niskayuna, NY; a brother, Bryan Therriault and his wife Erica of Stamford; a sister, Rebecca McCarthy and her husband Brendon of Boston, MA; maternal grandmother, Mary Harley of Rotterdam, NY; paternal grandparents, Marie and Thomas Therriault of Saratoga Springs, NY; a nephew Justin Therriault; two step-sisters, Pamela and Jennifer James. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Albert Harley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Dr., Fairfield. Interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
