Stephen M. Kudzy

Stephen M. Kudzy, age 58 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.  Born in Kingston, NY, the son of the late Theodore and Mary Kudzy, he had been a Fairfield resident for the last 28 years.  He was a 1986 graduate of Fairfield University.  Stephen enjoyed a rewarding career in high end luxury sales including positions at Rolex, Chanel and Maurice Lacroix.  He was a devout Roman Catholic and a daily communicant. He had a passion for running and sports, having thoroughly enjoyed coaching his children throughout their youth.  Survivors include his wife, Mary Kate Kudzy of Fairfield; four beloved children, Brendan, Aidan, Maggie and Rory Kudzy all of Fairfield; a sister, Mary Gilfeather of Pleasantville, NY and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Kudzy and a sister, Donna McIntyre.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Fairfield.  Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Family and friends may call Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
