Susan E. Bonney

Susan E. Bonney, aged 77, beloved daughter of the late Paul and Alice Bonney, of Milford passed away on March 15, 2019 in her home. Susan attended Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, then later the University of Bridgeport. She worked for several insurance and reinsurance companies over the years as a primary adjuster. Sue loved to pass the time reading, playing card games, doing crossword puzzles, or simply just spending time with her cherished cat, Teagan. She was an active member at St. Mary's Church in Milford. Susan is survived by her sister, Virginia Farrington; three nieces, Sue McGowan (partner Ed Keller), Linda Bertelson (Jim), Sandy Gierlach (Rich); two nephews, David Hamm (June), Bob Farrington (Norma); four great-nieces, Amanda Love (Jared), Stephanie Gierlach (fiancée Paul), Ashley Gierlach, Dr. Marjorie Farrington; and four great-nephews Eric Bertelson (Janie), Robert Farrington (Lisa), Sean McGowan (Deanna), and Kiel McGowan (Kerry). A service will be held for Susan on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11am at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family from 10am until the time of the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Lawncroft Cooperative Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield.
