Susan (Volpe) Domogala

Susan V. (Volpe) Domogala passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021, at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sue was born on June 17, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT to Frank and Raye Volpe.  In 1969, she married Robert Domogala, and together they raised their family in Trumbull, CT and shared 51 years together.

Sue was a selfless person who prioritized the needs and wishes of others above her own.  She was always there to provide support and assistance to her parents, parents-in-law, children, and grandchildren.

Sue took great pride in her family.  She is survived by her devoted husband Robert, son Robert Domogala Jr., daughter Debra Bennett and husband Jeff, and son Joseph Domogala.  She was especially proud of her grandchildren Patrick and Emily.  She is also survived by her sister Lynda Plourde and husband Roger, her sister Frances Ciuffreda and husband Angelo, and by numerous loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Raye Volpe and her parents-in-law John and Irene Domogala.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Neil Fischbach, Larisa Fleysler APRN, the Smilow Cancer Hospital staff, and The Connecticut Hospice staff.
