Theodore Noel Westerman

Theodore Noel Westerman, age 85 of Easton, CT, beloved husband of Barbara (Parcells) Westerman, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the CT Hospice, Inc., Branford, CT. Born and raised in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Westerman. He received his Engineering degree and MBA from the University of Bridgeport and took additional courses at Columbia and Rutgers. He was employed by Burndy and retired from Pitney Bowes and (Allied Signal) Honeywell of Arizona. During his years of employment he was awarded many patents. He enjoyed restoring homes, boating, fishing and traveling. In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by a son, Theodore Jr. and his wife Paula of Nevada; daughters, Gwen and her husband David of Easton and Pamela and her husband John of Redding; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Kenneth and a sister Lucy Larnick of Delaware. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield with the Rev. Rob Neville, Rector, Christ Episcopal Church, Tashua officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Sunday from 3-6 p.m. in the funeral home.
