Victoria A. Babyak passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the comfort of her own home in Fairfield Connecticut. She was born in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of the late Helen and Joseph Madaras. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Richard J. Babyak, and her sister, Jane E. Madaras.

Mrs. Babyak was a Business Education Teacher in the Stratford school system for 30 years. After early retirement, she substituted in the Trumbull and Easton school systems.

She graduated from Lasell College in Auburndale, MA with an Associate Degree and continued her education through Boston University, receiving her Bachelors Degree. While at BU she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was also elected in the Business Education Honors Society. Her Masters Degree in Education was later earned at Fairfield University.

Victoria  is survived by her two children, Melissa Babyak Letsch and Mark Babyak; her brother, Joseph Madaras; her sister-in-law, Hilda Madaras; her granddaughter, Olivia Letsch, whom she often referred to as the “love of her life”; as well as her beloved grand-dog, Serenity.
