Victoria Elizabeth Hill

Victoria E. Hill, age 95, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Hill, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family and “best friend” Sherman.  Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Fanny Fingelly and was a lifelong Fairfield resident.  Victoria graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School.  She worked with her husband in the family’s business, Bridgeport Moulded Products, serving as bookkeeper and, after Ralph’s passing in 1979, as President of the company. She later worked as a receptionist at Greens Farms Academy, retiring after 22 years of service.  Victoria delighted in time spent with her family whether at the beach or by the pool with her daughters and cherished grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Sarah Hill of Fairfield and Susan Riley and her husband David of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Daniel Riley, Douglas Riley and William (Tripp) McGarrie.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Nicholas Fingelly and George Fingelly.  A funeral service was held in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home and burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, friends may consider a donation in memory of Victoria to the Alzheimer’s Association , 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
