Vincent J. Cisero, Jr.

Vincent J. Cisero, Jr., age 89, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Ann (Moran) Cisero, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Vincent and Jenny Cisero, he had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Ocean aboard the U.S.S. Lloyd E. Acree. Mr. Cisero retired from Pepperidge Farm in Norwalk following 38 years of service. In his youth he enjoyed playing football and baseball and later in his life loved playing golf with his friends. Vincent enjoyed time spent around his house and in his garden, but above all else, delighted in being with his family. Survivors in addition to his loving wife Ann include three beloved daughters, Ruth Ann Cisero and her partner Ronald Merly of Bridgeport, Lorie Cisero and her partner John Kersten of Bridgeport and Chrisie Cisero Kochis and her husband Keith of Fairfield; three cherished grandchildren, Kurtis, Carly and Sarah Kochis; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and her husband, June and Jack Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Interment with military honors will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
