Virginia Anna Bartelloni

Virginia Anna (Hurteau) Bartelloni, age 89 of Easton,CT; beloved wife of 67 years to Peter J. Bartelloni MD, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Alburg, VT, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Hurteau. She was a graduate of The Bishop DeGoesbriand Jeanne Mance School of Nursing, Burlington, VT. For many years she was employed at Mary Fletcher Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Thereafter, her life was that of a busy Army wife and homemaker raising her family. She enjoyed many hours of playing exceptional games of Bridge and Canasta, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and baking. Survivors include four children, Peter Bartelloni Jr,, his wife Sharon McGinley Bartelloni of Norfolk, MA and their sons, Michael and Nicholas (Sara), and great granddaughter Brooke Alissa Bartelloni; Karen Bartelloni Foster, her husband Dodd of Boynton Beach, Florida, and their son, Clark; Debra Bartelloni Hayes her husband Adam of Hingham, MA, and their son, Jacob; and Lynn Bartelloni Banigan, of Newport Rhode Island and her daughter, Caitlin.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter, granddaughter Alissa Bartelloni, two sisters Erma Carmen, Cressy Lyng and five brothers, Douglas, Erwin, Clarence, Clement and James Hurteau. Per her wishes there will be no wake or funeral. She will be interred at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne alongside her husband on August 25, 2017.
