William M Magee

William M. Magee, age 92, a longtime Fairfield resident, beloved husband of Evelyn Wyrebek Magee, went to be with the Lord Friday June 5, 2015. He enlisted in the US Army and served his country from June 1942 to January 1946. William was known for his love of God, his love of family and his love of teaching. He was a longtime member of Black Rock Congregational Church where he served on many boards and committees. William taught in the Fairfield School System for 41 years beginning at Fairfield Ludlowe High School and finishing at Andrew Warde. He was a devoted and loving husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Poppy. Survivors include his wife Evelyn, son Kevin Magee of Trumbull, son David Magee and his wife Linda of Woodstock, CT., Daughter Beth Carbone and her husband Vincent of Monroe, grandchildren Michael and Daniel Magee, Vincent, Julie, Breanne and James Carbone and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 19, 2015 at 11:00am at Black Rock Congregational Church Fairfield. Interment will be private.
