William "Bill" Sullivan, Jr

William D. Sullivan Jr died peacefully at home after his short battle with brain cancer on October 4, 2022. He was 49 years old. He was the loving husband of Alisa Rapacciuolo Sullivan and loving father to Aaron Sullivan.

William, known to his friends & family as Bill or Billy, was an amazing person and friend. He was just a good guy and was loved by many. He loved his family as much as they loved him.

Billy “had the gift for gab” as we used to say. His laugh was contagious. He loved to talk, to everyone. That’s what made him who he was. Once he got to know you, you were in his circle of friends. He would do anything for you, no matter what it was, the time of day or where he had to go to get it done.  He always looked out for the ones he cared about.

Family was very important to Billy. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his wife, son & his pup Katie, he could be seen helping out or visiting the rest of us.  In addition to his wife, Alisa, Billy is survived by his son Aaron, His father William Sr.. He also leaves his Sisters: Corene Sullivan ( Fiancé Joseph Koutrakos), Buffy Sullivan Barry. He is the nephew of Peggy and Rod Bodnar, the son-in-law of Louise Rapacciuolo, the brother-in-law of Jim Doloughan and Jamie Rapacciuolo. One of his cherished title of Uncle /“U.B” to: Pierceson, Daylin, Zachary, Sean, Logan & Morgan. He is a special cousin to Joy Bodnar, Michael and Courtney Bodnar and their children Abram, Elna & Isla. Billy is pre-deceased by his mother Geraldine Sullivan & father-in-law Salvatore Rapacciuolo Sr

Every occasion was an excuse for Billy to be with family and friends.  Picnics & parties at his house were filled with lots of laughter and food! Food he mostly cooked, which he was happy to do.  Billy found any reason to start a fire either in the backyard or at a campsite.  Of course it was the people around him that meant the most.  One of his favorite times of the year was a yearly trip to visit family at Lake Murray, SC.  It was a family trip that became tradition and they had planned to continue doing this together for many more years.  He just loved to have fun!

He had a flair for decorating a house, inside and out. Halloween & Christmas were his favorite holidays. He was the mastermind behind the decorations at his parents’ house, which he then duplicated at his own house. The more festive the better!

To know Billy was to know he loved mustangs. He owned several over the years and if he had some free time he could be found tinkering on them.  You could always hear him coming.  If not the car, then his music usually arrived before he did. Billy also leaves behind his labor of love, his landscaping business, Misty Meadows LLC.
